Bruno Teyssier declares that “winemaking is his joy”, that he “loves to make wine lovers happy.” Since vintage 2007, Château Barreyres is made with advices of Antoine Medeville, oenologue who has a great knowing of Medoc typicities, especially Margaux, Moulis et Listrac (other references : Châteaux Labégorce, Fonréaud, Haut-Marbuzet…).
Chateau Barreyres
A deep, rich colour, almost black but not quite. The bouquet is supremely inviting, while on the palate this Haut Médoc Cru Bourgeois is both supple and weighty. Ripe fruits and delicate gooseberries gradually develop earthy notes, followed by spices and vanilla. Good fullness, and long on the finish.
